ACCESSING SCHOOL PROGRAMS ONLINE:At times students will need to complete school work online at home. They may also want to spend extra practice time with our online programs too.
In this message I am including a guide for how to access the school programs online when not in school. Most importantly, students need to be logged into their own school Google Drive account in order to access the programs we are using; programs won’t work from family accounts. Go to Google Drive If the screen opens in a Google Drive account that you already have, you will need to add your child’s school account: Here is the schema for your child’s school Google Drive account: Username (This is also their district email): first 6 characters are lowercase first 3 letters of first name and first three letters of last name: _ _ _ _ _ _ [email protected] Password is simply your child’s school PIN (4 digit lunch code number) _ _ _ _ Once a student is in their Google Drive account, they must launch to most school programs from an app called Clever. The Clever app will appear near the upper right hand corner of their screen. This is a new tool that our district has set up, and it bypasses students needing to remember usernames and passwords- it does it automatically for them! This app gets its data through Skyward. My students are familiar with Clever; they have been using it at school. Thanks for your support, Don Balke |
